Family Session in Twentynine Palms, CA - The Browns
Recently, I've determined to up my blogging game. I have no good reason for why I haven't blogged my photography sessions up until now. I needed to start somewhere! Enter the Brown family... I asked Lane if she'd mind being the first family up on the blog, and she cheerfully accepted. Thanks, Lane!
I recently met the Brown family when they moved into my neighborhood. They were such fun to work with! New to the area, and wanting some updated photos, we met at this gorgeous spot. The Grandparents came along, too, and lent a helping hand by causing the kids to giggle and smile.
We started things off just before sunset with some portraits of all four of them. By the way - would you ever guess that this beautiful, grassy area is located in the desert of California?! Neither would I.
Relaxing and goofing off a little bit - I love these glimpses into real life moments that happen between poses! These are always some of my favorite images.
We found some soft grass for the kids to play on while I snapped away. I LOVE getting to talk with the little ones and capture moments of pure expression on the camera! These two were all smiles. Of course, it helped that Mom, Dad, and Grandparents were standing right next to me, coaxing the giggles out of them!
These little faces... adorable!!
A little bit of candid expression. Her little baby cheeks...!
Asking questions usually opens up a world of expression. I learned about his favorite toy - - it flies up to the moon! I asked him to show me how high up there the moon was, and here was his answer:
Next, I spent some time with just Mom and Dad. Glowy, sunset-drenched, emotive moments like these usually end up being my favorite images from a session.
Lane wanted a close-up of herself and Mike, as well, so we made sure that happened! Here's Mike.
